Club Ronda, in collaboration with Patronato Deportivo Municipal from Ronda and
Unicaja bank Foundation as sponsorship, organize:
The 4rd “Ciudad
de Ronda” Veterans Badminton Tournament
Veteran
players who have the corresponding federative license would be able to
participate on it.
Date and timetable:
The fourth “Ciudad de Ronda” Veterans Badminton Tournament
will take place in Ronda, Málaga (Spain) on the 10th and 11th
of November 2012 at the sport hall “El Fuerte” situated at Guadalquivir
Street. The timetable is expected to be on Saturday from 9h to 18h and on
Sunday from 9h to 15h.
There will be the next
categories:
- Veterans “A”- From 30 to 39 years: 1981-1972
- Veterans “B”- From 40 to 49 years: 1971-1962
- Veterans “C”- From 50 to 59 years: 1961-1952
- Veterans “D”- From 60 to 64 years: 1951-1947
- Superveterans - From 65 onwards: 1946-downwards
Depending on the number of
players registered in each category they will be brought together or either got
into groups.
The different disciplines
that will be played are:

The players who
are going to play individual matches, if they want, they will be allowed to play
in a lower category to the one that they belong, but never to a higher one. For
doubles matches, couples will play at the category belonged to the younger
player.
Competition
System:
There will be a system league
for all categories and a final phase which will be elimination at the first
loss. The matches will be played based on current regulations.
Shuttlecocks will be made of
natural feather FORZA TOURNAMENTS Speed 2.
Prizes:
There will be Trophies for
every category winner.
Registration:
Those who want to join the
competition must send their registration, (registration document will be sent
to those who writes us to:
Before the 30th of
October at 10 pm o’clock.
The registration price will
be 10€ for one discipline or 18€ for two disciplines. In order to enjoy the
city and activities of that weekend, we limit the registration in two
disciplines maximum per each player, in order to enjoy the activities that we
offer and the monumental city of Ronda, near to “Costa del Sol”.
The registration taxes have
to be paid via transference, after registration, we will back a mail with IVAN
code to transfer it.
Once the transference is
made, the registration document must be filled in and sent to:
IMPORTANT:
The registered players who don´t take part in the tournament wont have right of
refund.
On the 5th of November, Monday, in the afternoon the game
tables of matches will be sent via mail to all the registered players. If you
need any complaint about it, it must be attended until the 7th of
November at 22 o´clock. In case of changes, the definitive tables will be sent on
the 8th of November.
